Betty DeWitt
Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools
Betty DeWitt is a Financial Analyst - Capital Projects Budget with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Before joining CMS in 2000, Betty spent ten years with the New York City Transit Authority in Financial/Auditing positions and twenty six years with the United States Postal Service. Betty is a committed volunteer and has worked with the American Red Cross, the Arts and Science Council and other non-profits. Betty served as a board member of Community Food Rescue prior to joining SHFBM in 2005 where she currently serves as Treasurer. Betty holds a BS in Business Administration and a Masters in Education/Management from Lehman University in New York City. She is also a proud graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class XXIV and the University City Community Building Project Leadership Academy. Betty is married and has three children.
