Dan Harris
US Foodservice
Dan Harris began his career at US Foodservice (formerly Biggers Brothers) in Charlotte, NC in July, 1975, as a night warehouse employee. He moved into Relief Sales, and then became a Sales Representative in the Greensboro, NC market.
In 1990, he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager and, in 1993, was promoted to General Sales Manager, which moved him back to Charlotte. In May, 1997 he was promoted to Vice President, Sales for the Atlanta Division of US Foodservice. His next promotion, in 2000, brought him back to Charlotte, NC as the Executive Vice President, until he was named President of the Charlotte division, now located in Fort Mill, SC. Dan and his wife, Melinda, have three children, Jason, Lauren, and Allison. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, either on his boat, in the mountains, or on the golf course!
Raised in Charlotte, Dan is a graduate of Myers Park High School and attended Western Carolina University.
