Retired from Nabisco (now Kraft Foods)

Gale Pendergraph retired from Nabisco (now Kraft Foods) after 45 years in 2005. He was a member of the county committee that created Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina 22 years ago. Gale currently serves as Chairperson of the Board Development Committee. He served SHFBM on various committees before joining the board in 1997. Gale also serves on the Charlotte Symphony Board and is President of the Charlotte Symphony Oratorio Singers Board.

An Elder and member of the choir at Covenant Presbyterian Church, he is a member of the Charlotte Presbytery committee where he chairs the Transfers Committee. Gale is Chief Judge for the Election office and helps with all elections in Mecklenburg County. He has been a Red Cross blood donor since his 18th birthday. He holds the Southeast record for platelet donation - 145 gallons.

He is married and lives in Charlotte's Dilworth neighborhood.
