As a liaison between the Panthers and the community, Riley works to develop programs and partnerships that address the special needs of communities throughout the Carolinas.

Under Riley’s direction, the community relations department coordinates the team’s outreach programming, youth football programming, cheerleader and mascot programs, player appearances, merchandise donations and Carolina Panthers Charities.

Prior to joining the Panthers in March 2003, Riley spent seven years as marketing specialist for Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation.

A native of Charlotte, Riley graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 with a degree in journalism and earned a masters degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts in 1993. Riley and his wife, Robin, have a daughter, Grace Elizabeth. They live in Charlotte.
