Introduction

PLEASE READ BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR VIRTUAL FOOD DRIVE

Virtual Food Drives are open to individuals, groups and organizations. You can choose to customize a virtual barrel by selecting from a list of most needed food drive items, donate to the pet food bank, stuff a backpack for the backpack program, fill a senior box for our second helping program or make a financial contribution. No matter what you choose to donate, it's never been easier to give a bit and help a lot.

Upon registering your food drive, a Food Drive identification code will be generated. This code can be given out to everyone participating in your group’s food drive. Simply launch giveabit, click donate now, enter your Food Drive ID and any donations made will count towards your group’s overall goal.

Group Type Descriptions

Welcome to GiveABit Group Registration:

The first step in starting your virtual food drive is setting up a group inside the GiveABit System. Groups can be families with just a few participants to large corporations with multiple departments, multiple participants and multiple food drives. To get started, select your group type from the drop down list in the registration form. Next, fill out the requested information and click submit! Second Harvest Food Bank must approve your group registration request before you can set up your food drive.
