Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina cannot operate without wonderful partners like you! When you choose to host a Fund or Food Drive, you help secure the food and resources needed to feed our neighbors in need across 19 counties in North and South Carolina.
Why A Fund Drive?
Funds are our greatest need and a wonderful way to multiply your giving! We are able to provide 7 pounds of food into the community for every $1 donated! We are also able to purchase products by the pallet - securing much needed items at great pricing. Funds help keep refrigerated trucks on the road allowing us to pick-up and distribute fresh produce, dairy and meats to our partner agencies. Funds result in critical and healthy foods reaching more people in need. An online Fund Drive is also an easy and environmentally-friendly way to host a drive.
You can collect cash or check donations at your location or host an online Fund Drive. If you would like to host an online Fund Drive, please click "Start A Fund Drive" below. Once registered, you have the ability to customize your personal or team fundraising page and share it via email and social media with the simple click of a button.
Why A Food Drive?
Physical Food Drives are also extremely important in securing needed food. In addition to Fund Drives, Food Drives help us stock the shelves at the 700+ agencies we serve, including soup kitchens, emergency pantries, homeless shelters, senior programs, low-income daycares, veteran assistance organizations, and animal rescues.
