Harris Teeter Presents 33rd Annual Chef’s Best Fundraiser. Featuring celebrity chef Richard Blais, Chef’s Best benefits Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

MATTHEWS, N.C. – Harris Teeter is excited to present the annual Chef’s Best fundraiser, benefi;ng Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Taking place on Sept. 6, the Chef’s Best event will feature wine, beer and delicious food prepared by celebrity chef Richard Blais, as well as entertainment including music, a live and silent auc;on, raffles and a jewelry pull worth $10,000.

The event will take place Friday, Sept. 6 in the Crown Ballroom of the CharloMe Conven;on Center. The recep;on begins at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets covering admission, food, beer and wine can be purchased here.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, which strives to eliminate hunger across its service area which includes 24 coun;es in North Carolina and South Carolina. Last year alone, Chef’s Best raised $500,000 for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

The celebrity chef for this year’s Chef’s Best, Richard Blais, is a renowned chef, restaurateur, television personality and James Beard-nominated cookbook author. Blais currently co-stars alongside Gordon Ramsay on FOX's hit cooking compe;;on, Next Level Chef, and is widely recognized as the first winner of Bravo's Top Chef All-Stars.
