We are honored to present Chef's Best 2019 presented by Harris Teeter featuring a meal designed by celebrity Chef Rob Irvine!

Chef's Best is back! On August 9th, guests will arrive at the 30th Annual Chef's Best presented by Harris Teeter at the Charlotte Convention Center Crown Ballroom. Guests will enjoy a reception featuring some of Charlotte's hottest restaurants, a three-course meal designed by celebrity Chef Robert Irvine paired with wonderful wines, great music, a live auction, and raffle (click here for a list of our Dinner for Three Raffle restaurants). Our emcees for the evening are Maureen O'Boyle (WBTV News) and Jon Wilson (WCCB Charlotte the CW / Wilson's World).

Last year we reached 800 people in our community coming together to end hunger. This event benefits Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina's Community Food Rescue Program. The CFR program rescues safe edible food from restaurants, catering companies, produce markets and picks up and delivers the food the same day to agencies that feed on site like soup kitchens and homeless shelters. This "Go Green" program annually saves over 6 million pounds of food.
