The 2019 Atlantic hurricane season officially began on June 1st and will end on November 30th.  Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina will be prepared.   

 

During the 2018 Hurricane season, with the help of donors and volunteers like  you, the Food Bank was able to provide over 50 tractor trailer loads through our "From Charlotte With Love" campaign.  These trucks loads included food boxes we packed during several events held at our food bank along with produce, meat, paper goods, hygiene, water, diapers, and assorted foods.  In total, we distributed 1.4 million pounds of food and provided 50,000 food boxes.

 

We are already packing food boxes so we are ready when our partner Food Banks need us.  Here are ways that you can help:
