Empty Bowls is a fundraising luncheon designed to raise awareness and funds to support our mission to end hunger. The empty bowl is a reminder of those who struggle with food insecurity.
Plan to support us on April 16, 2021 for our Empty Bowls Drive-Through event. During these uncertain times of COVID-19, we wanted to continue the tradition of one of our favorite events while keeping guests safe. Our 2021 Empty Bowls will transition to a drive-through model.
As a donor and Bowl Package purchaser, you will come to SHFBM’s Charlotte facility at 500-B Spratt Street to pick up your Bowl Package. Pick-up of Bowl Packages will occur on April 16, 2021.
Bowl Packages are $40 and include:
- One handcrafted pottery bowl (pre-selected by SHFBM)- One dry soup mix (feeds 2-3 people) and a sweet treat
- One GoPlaySave coupon book (Value: $25)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- Pick-up time is between 10 am and 6 pm on Friday, April 16.
- Bowl Packages can be purchased through Friday, April 2 at 5 pm.
Bowls will be randomly selected for all packages. Your Bowl Package/s will be pre-packed and ready for pick up on April 16!
