Sponsored by Food Lion Feeds and the CRVA (Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority), Empty Bowls is an event designed to raise awareness and funds for our work in ending hunger in the Metrolina region. Potters of all ages, skill levels and approaches to clay will donate hundreds of handmade ceramic bowls. The bowl then serves as a reminder that someone's bowl is always empty and that we need to continue our efforts to end hunger in our community.
Event Includes: A pottery demonstration by Clayworks, huge silent auction with almost 200 packages, raffle, a delicious boxed lunch prepared by the spectacular team at the Charlotte Convention Center, a GoPlaySave coupon book provided by The Real Estate Transition Team, and hundreds of pottery bowls to choose from!
Silent Auction Categories Include: Wellness, trips and experiences, sports, food and beverage, and more!
Our Event Host: Kristen Miranda, Managing Editor of Lifestyle Content at WBTV News and co-host of QC Morning and QC@3.
