Stand Against Hunger: September 2020

Join Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina this September for Hunger Action Month, a 30 day awareness campaign where people all over the United States stand together to end hunger. It’s a month to spread the word and take action on the hunger crisis — and dedicate ourselves to a solution.

Hunger Action Day, Thursday, September 10, is a day where efforts across the country are focused for greater hunger-fighting impact. Please consider joining our team through volunteering, donating, or hosting a fund / food drive to show how you can help us feed our neighbors in need in our 24 county service region.

Be an Advocate for Hunger! How else can you help?

• Take a "#helpie" and post on your social media platforms. What's a #helpie? It's taking a photo of yourself or a group while helping make a difference! Be sure and tag #shmetrolinaHelpie

• "Like" us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linkedin to get ongoing information on events, promotions and announcements.

• Update your Facebook status to share a hunger fact with friends and colleagues to raise awareness.

• Volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

• Make a donation! For every $1 donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, you can help us provide 7 pounds of food!
