Dear Food Bank Friends,
Two years later, the impact of COVID-19 is still being felt throughout our 24 county service region in North and South Carolina. During the first 12 months, we encountered enormous increases in need, less donated food and fewer volunteers to help us keep children, seniors, families, veterans and pets fed.
Just as we were beginning to see some improvement in all of our numbers, the Omicron Variant materialized.and our challenges continued.
It has become clear to all of us at Second Harvest that our work is far from over where this virus is concerned. We need your continued support and help as we navigate this next phase. We thank you for what we have accomplished so far and ask you to stay with us as we work to ensure no one in our region is hungry.
